Lovely staff, very clean, good location in town, lots of bars and restaurants nearby, room size good. 20 min walk from station and similar to Wagner's house / museum. Shopping centre round the corner. Convenient cheap shuttle service to festival which included free wine and cake before leaving. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent breakfast, perfect location, friendly and helpful staff. Reasonably priced parking in the basement. Also a shuttle to festival site and late dinner after operas were a major plus.

Caring and welcoming staff with impeccable English. Located very close to town centre with lots of restaurants/cafes within a short walking distance. Breakfast was also very good (although a tiny bit pricey).

Breakfast & servers excellent. Best selection I have seen in a long time, but there should have been some smoked salmon/Gravadlax to go with the scrambled egg. Room & bathroom okay, but a shower curtain in the bathroom? About time they were upgraded to a shower cubicle. Plenty of room round the wash basin to lay out toiletries.

1. Staff was professional and efficient, provided clear communication about hotel rules and policies. 2. Location was great, walking distance to the center of town where one finds plenty of restaurants and also shopping in case you forgot your dress shoes or a tie to attend the opera festival (discount store style shopping). 3. Room was spotless. 4. Room had air conditioning, very necessary for the summer and it was a relatively quiet unit.

The hotel is one minute walk from the old town. Festpilhaus 30 minutes walk, taxi 7-8 minutes. The breakfasts are excellent. A bus to the festpilhaus is organized. The hotel is convenient for the festival. The staff at the reception helps in all matters, polite, responsive.
